I felt that my Sansa Clip was charging a little too slowly on USB, so I searched Amazon.com for a charger and found this little gem. The price is right, and it's very fast. Highly recommended.

All four family members have Sansa MP3 players, but only 2 of us have working computers, so keeping everyone charged is a pain. This device takes care of that. It plugs right into an outlet and the USB cable plugs right into it. Awesome. My only design complaint is that the direction of the unit means that this device must be plugged into the bottom socket on a wall outlet or at the edge of a strip -- otherwise, it blocks the other sockets. However, I am more than willing to accept this flaw given the price and utility, thereby still giving it all 5 stars.

I should have bought this adaptor whenI bought my Sansa clip. When I would charge the Sansa through the computer it was time consuming and sometime it did not recharge. With this travel charge my Sansa clip charges fully and completely.

This Little charger is perfect for charging my MP3 player, but the best feature about this charger is that it will charge any USB device.

Charges my Sansa Clip 8Gb relatively fast as compared to recharging with the computer USB connection. I haven't timed it, but so far so good. The connections are wall plug in (standard) on one end, and a cord with a firewire connection on the other end which plugs nicely into the Clip. I am glad I purchased this.

Never had any problems with this unit, the price is right, it feels pretty well built and charges both an Ipod and a Clip on a regular basis with no issues. Cant ask for more than that.

There isn't much you can really say about the product. It should get 5 stars if it does the job it is inteded for.

Which it does. The light is helpful in making sure you have your USB connected properly, and I havent had any issues with it working.

I bought this charger specifically for my Sansa Clip MP3 player, it also works on another MP3 player I own. This charger is built sturdy and does not look like it will fall apart. I highly recommend this one if you only have one item to charge at a time.

Note:

Earlier this year I purchased a charger kit from a different seller that was supposedly for my Sansa Clip mp3 player, it even came with a rubber sheath shaped like the Sansa Clip. The kit consisted of a car lighter plug in charger, which fell apart the first time I used it. The wall plug in charger fell apart after 3 months of use.

There's not a lot to say here. It's a charger. And it works well with my Sansa Clip+. Neither the charger or the Clip+ get hot - or even warm - during charging. The charger is very small if you need a travel charger. And since at least the Clip+ USB port is a bit proprietary (it seems to be a bit small as any other standard mini USB cable I've tried to fit in the Clip+ is too tight.) you have to use the cable provided with your Clip+ to connect to this charger. At least using the original cable eliminates any guessing about whether a charger that comes with it's own cable will work with the item you need to charge.

Note: At least the Sansa Clip+ does not automatically update the screen where it shows the percent your battery is charged during the charge cycle. The charger IS working. You need to power off the Clip+, power it back on, and select the screen again that shows the percent your battery is charged in order to see an updated status of the charge.

The Travel Charger works perfectly. It quickly charges my Snasa clip+. The charger did not get warm. Folding prongs would be a nice touch, but they aren't necessary. I'm completely satisfied.

This little adapter earns its 5 stars for solving a true problem and doing it so without me having to pay a lot for the privilege. But, first, let's enumerate its specs:

- Input 100-240V - at this price dual voltage, amazing. You would need a plug adapter if you go abroad and it's not included.
- AC - 50-60Hz - we have 50Hz, they use 50Hz in Europe.
- Output DC - 5.0V
- Interface - USB female A-type
- Little "I'm alive" red light so you'll know that it's charging
- USB cord - not included

I bought this to charge the Flip MinoHD Camcorder 2nd Generation a great little cam that comes without a charger and expects that you either carry a laptop and have it hang on it USB port to charge it or you pay lots of $$ to buy the 'extra' charger from Flip. To my surprise and joy, this little adapter coupled with a relatively inexpensive AmazonBasics USB 2.0 A-Male to A-Female Extension Cable (3.3 Feet / 1.0 Meter) fully charged my MinoHD in about 90 minutes without any issues.

By the way, those who market this device may sell more if the mention the Clip compatibility. I do own a SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 2 GB MP3 Player (Black) and I didn't need this adapter because the Sansa takes its charge through a female Mini USB A-type and any Blackberry or phone charger with a male Mini-USB B-type would charge it.

To conclude: IT WORKS and at this price with free shipping (no $25 minimum required) it's almost a steal. I'll probably order another one, just in case.

I had ordered this product because I needed a USB charger for my Sansa Fuze. I have been using it for about a month since I ordered it (as of this review). It works magnificently! I admit that it is not the most compact of chargers as it can take up some outlet space depending on where it is positioned. I feel that this was an excellent purchase at an affordable price.

This neat little travel charger is perfect for use with my Sansa Clip+ MP3 player. It charges faster than when plugged into the computer and you can charge up your player anywhere there is an AC outlet. Money well spent!

This charger works exactly as described, and you can even listen to it while you are charging the MP3 player. I bought it for my SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 4GB MP3 player and it works perfectly. Many MP3 players can only be charged with a computer, but I don't have a laptop, so this is perfect. At $2.99, what I else can I say?

I bought this charger to charge my SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 8GB MP3 player. Overall I'm very pleased with this product. I was very cautious when I saw other chargers before I bought this one, because I read the reviews with other chargers that have an output of more than 5 Volts, which destroyed their MP3 players or other electronic devices. I have an old, but long USB cable that came with my graphing calculator, and I used that to connect my Clip+ to this charger, because the USB cable that came with the Clip+ was too short. So far no problems, and I highly recommend this product.

It worked just fine. I purchased 2 'cuz I lose things so easily. It took a while to charge my Sansa clip with this but I just plugged it in and left it overnight. I highly recommend it. Shipping was fast. It arrived way before the seller said it would.

24.) Be careful with output current!

The charger works as advertised. However, the one that I received outputs 1000mA (the picture shows 700mA). So, if you use this charger on a device other than Sansa, MAKE SURE that the device/battery can handle that much current. For example, my book reader can't handle more than 850mA, which means that if I try to charge it with this charger, it will either charge a lot faster, or fry. The best rule of thumb is to check your original charger and make sure that this charger's specs match. If your device accepts a "rapid charger", you can compare against the rapid charger's specs.

I bought this for my dad so he could charge his MP3 Sanso wherever he wanted to, but the first time he tried it, it blew it out. He eventually got it working again, but he won't be using the charger again.

I am very disappointed with this charger. I was careful picking it out thinking it would work with iPhone 3gs but it doesn't. I've tried it on the 3gs and the iphone4 but the new software will not let it work. If you never upgrade your iTunes software I think the charge will work but who wants to be stuck with old software?
